Pain in the Pelvis and Dysuria from Myofascial Trigger Points in Adductor Muscles-A case report-

Abstract
Pain in the pelvis and dysuria can be provoked by sexually transmitted disease, acute pelvic inflammatory disease, acute or chronic prostatitis, trauma, ureteral stone, acute or chronic or interstitial cystitis, cancer of the bladder, normal
pregnancy,
referred pelvic pain by abdominal disease, pelvic muscle spasm and myofascial trigger points in adductor muscles. We report two cases of pain in the pelvis and dysuria from myofascial trigger points. Both did respond favorably to a therapeutic
program
including local heat, injection with betamethasone anesthetic solutions, ischemic compression, stretching, or relief of tension in appropriate combination.
